This owl was hit by a vehicle on September 29, 2011. I rescued it from the side of the highway. It has gone to a specialized vet who can treat birds of prey, in hopes that they can treat his injuries and release him back into the wild. We are not sure how long his treatment will take as he has a broken foot, eye injury, and a possible brain injury.
